About Me
I qualified as a PAT Testing Specialist in October 2019 whilst at the time still serving as a pupil of almost 9 years at Grantham Additional Needs Fellowship - GANF (C.I.T Academies), attending Ambergate Sports College in September 2011 and finally departing from Sandon School 6th Form during the peak period of the Coronavirus Pandemic in Early-Mid 2020.

As I'm High Functioning autistic and suffer with anxiety, I found it extremely tough to be able to mix in with people in varied communities and find even finding a part-time job challenging, the reason being that there are barely any workplace industries willing to take on people with the complex neurodiversity needs that I have.

So in 2021, I decided (with the support of my grandparents) to take on the running, operation and management of my own little PAT Testing business which too became a successful start and had since then been receiving regular support and work from businesses and landlords in the local community.

Between September 2020 - April 2024, I worked alongside PAT-iT Ltd, as a trusted Subcontractor, a reputable company specialising in Portable Appliance Testing or Electrical Equipment Condition Reporting (EECRs) for the East Midlands region, I assisted Director Lee Turtle TMIET and his team of test technicians with a small variety of their contracts as and when required. Lee also continues to pass work to me if PAT-iT Ltd are at any point unable to meet a customer's requirements at short notice.

Business helping local businesses is a big key factor for our Industry as we have seen risky shortcuts being taken by national firms.

Useful fact to know: My first ever PAT Test job was at a Local Pizza Takeaway which at the time consisted of around 45-50 items and that is where it all started.

March 2025: I am a proud member of the Portable Appliance Testing Trade Association (PATTA), a recognised standards bearer representing over 150 members in the PAT Testing Industry.
