Drop-In Service

I tailor my services to all of my customers needs whilst still ensuring that their electrical equipment is safe as intended. In the rare event that I am unable attend a customer on-site, I offer the solution of a "Drop-In, Collect Later" service.

 

What is this service and what is involved??

It's still PAT Testing carried out in the same way as all PAT Technicians would in a business premises, however, it is carried out at my specialist premises away from your place of business, For example, if you are a Music Band, DJ, Tradesperson, or in the Event Hire Industry and have a van/car load full of the electrical gear you use on a daily basis, this service would work out well for you and end up with a significant cost saving. I can even carry out the checks with the electrical equipment still in your vehicle which thus almost prevents the need to fully unload.

What is the Price??

I have a main & varying price structure for this service:

Standard rate of £50 for the first 25 items, followed by a per item rate after that (No VAT).

Much smaller quantities such as less than 5 or 15 items can be quoted cheaper depending on the final total number of items checked per customer which can therefore again provide a significant cost saving.

Why is PAT testing required??

While there is no PAT testing regulation, The Electricity at Work Regulations require employers, including self-employed individuals, to ensure that all electrical equipment provided in their business is safe and properly maintained.
